August 26, 2012	Miss Essex & Little Miss Essex Crowning! 2p.m. - Trojan Hall - Admission $1.00 all ages.  This is the first 2011 Essex Labor Day event.  Join us for the celebration & support of our local youth. Complimentary refreshments served. Entry forms are linked to the Labor Day Schedule.

	9am-11am Trojan Hall ~ Come Visit Santa!  Mrs. Clause is coming, too!!  Santa will arrive on his special sleigh at 9am. with workshop activities until 11am. NEW THIS YEAR ~ Cookie-Walk fundraiser by the Essex Lied Public Library! Also, bid on the Elementary school gingerbread houses - silent auction bidding.    Books, Educational Toys, & Gifts for Sale with proceeds benefiting the Essex Community School.....Great gifts for children, grandchildren, relatives, neighbors, & friends. Watch a video with your friends, too! Come for great shopping, your children's holiday picture & community spirit.  Kids ~ Letters to Santa are available to color & give to Santa! Hot Cocoa & Holiday Punch Served.
